When a collaboration just makes sense: Handgespaakt × Gravaa Limited Edition Wheelsets

You may have noticed something different on our socials recently. A wheelset that didn’t look quite like anything we’ve released before. A collaboration that caught some eyes and raised some questions. So here, we’d like to tell the story behind it.

Craftsmanship meets innovation

There are partnerships that happen because they make sense on paper. And then there are partnerships that happen because the people involved simply get one another.

This one is the second kind.

It’s about shared belief: that performance should never compromise quality, and beauty shouldn’t forgo function. Handgespaakt, known for its hand-built high-end wheelsets, and us, Gravaa, a pioneer in adaptive tire pressure technology, have together created something very special: a strictly limited edition of just 10 wheelsets, built entirely in the Netherlands.

Who is Handgespaakt?

Based in Heerlen, The Netherlands, Handgespaakt (HNDGSPKT) has earned a reputation since around 2011 for crafting custom wheel builds of the highest calibre. Founder Paul builds every wheel to customer specification: rims, spokes, hubs, nipple choices, every detail matters. “Hand-spoked” literally, wheels built by hand, tuned by hand, tuned again.

Why the collaboration?

Here at Gravaa, we saw in Handgespaakt what we value: precision, Netherlands-based production, and the kind of design integrity that doesn’t settle for “good enough.” And in turn, Handgespaakt recognised that our adaptive tire pressure hubs were more than a novelty, they offer performance gains and improve the ride experience. Put simply: craft meets tech; tradition meets innovation.

What’s the result?

The limited edition wheelset pairs Handgespaakt’s asymmetric carbon rim, HG GR 4025,  with Gravaa’s precision-engineered hubs.
